SF Youth Soccer offers a robust program at every level for every type of player, from beginner to premier.

Does your company want to support local youth leadership and soccer programming?

In the Spring of 2016, SF Youth Soccer began participating at SF Shared Schoolyard Project school opening events. A great community cause we were honored to support for multiple years.

​​SF Youth Soccer contracts referees who are certified by CNRA (California North Referee Administration).

Our Referee Mentors are experienced referees that can provide tips on making calls, crowd control, feedback on officiating to make things run more smoothly.


Our Junior Coach Program combines the best of soccer training, coaching strategy and community service. Available to youth age 15 and older.

Seasonally, we provide mentoring for the referees that sign up for matches that have a mentor assigned to it. 

The Field Marshal Program provides best practices and game day logistical support to keep the Game Day environment safe, fun and running smoothly.


​The SF Youth Soccer Field Marshal is the “go to” person on-site on game days and in direct support of our youth players, parents, coaches and referees. A Field Marshal is the soccer field complex manager, representative of and liaison for SF Youth Soccer and its teams and supporters on the pitch. Apply Now!

SF Youth Soccer offers Financial Aid for players participating in its home leagues. We also fundraise to subsidize and underwrite our low- and no- cost programming.

Youth Soccer Leagues

San Francisco is a vibrant soccer community. Team formation is done independently (by parents) or within youth soccer clubs or schools. It's possible to both start a team of your own or join another team or club.

In addition, SFYS and our affiliated leagues and clubs host supplemental coach clinics and professional development courses including over the past few seasons: CalSACCoaching Corp, Positive Coaching AllianceClinics are listed on our Events & Registration Calendar and highlighted in team correspondence.


SFYS hosts US Soccer Certification Courses multiple times per year. If training dates do not work with your schedule, other leagues host the certification courses as well.


SF Youth Soccer runs scheduling for the SFYS Recreational and competitive CCSL Prep leagues. We support teams in multiple non-SFYS leagues as well. Click through to those leagues for schedules and standings.


COACH TRAINING

Offered in conjunction with San Francisco State University Department of Recreation, Parks and Tourism and the ICEE Program apply for our credited 480-hour (15 weeks at 32 hours/week) educational and professional internship. Click for more info and to apply!
